The trial of  Slobodan Gavric, a Serbian national accused of terrorism, was postponed on Monday. Gavric, who faces trial for planning a terrorist attack in Pristina, was indicted on July 10 by the Special Prosecution of Kosovo.

An expert was supposed to testify regarding the explosives that the prosecution says were found inside Gavric’s vehicle in Prishtina. However, the absence of one of the  court members prevented the session from taking place.

Shadije Gerguri, the head of the panel, informed the attendees that the session will be postponed until April 6.

On the 10th of July 2015, Slobodan Gavrić was indicted by the Special Prosecution of Kosovo for preparing terrorist acts, an offense against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo.

According to the indictment, in December 2014 in Belgrade, Slobodan Gavrić prepared to commit terrorism by acquiring 25 explosive devices with a total weight of 12,219 grams of a powerful explosive (PETN) combined with metal fragments, bolts and screws to amplify its destructive power and increase the number of casualties and material damages.

According to the indictment, Gavrić had transported the explosive from Belgrade to Prishtina with his vehicle, a Renault Clio. He was stopped at around 21:00 by the Kosovo Police at the “Arberia” neighborhood.  His trunk and found the bag where the explosive was located.
