The Directorate of Inspectorates in the municipality of Prizren has ordered the demolition of construction that was built without permission in a residence there. It only happened after BIRN reported and sent questions to the municipality about the problem.
The Directorate of Inspectorates in the Municipality of Prizren has ordered the demolition of a construction without a permit in a residence in the Ortakoll neighborhood.
Photos were sent to BIRN’s address showing that in an apartment in Prizren, the resident has been carrying out works without permission from the competent authorities.
In this regard, BIRN has sent questions to the Municipality of Prizren, and this institution in their response has announced that the Construction Inspectorate has inspected the scene on July 16, in which case it has concluded that the party N.N.., has been developing works without permission from the competent authorities, removing the roof tiles of the building, and the party has been ordered to return it to its previous state.
For this, on July 17, the ruling was issued with no. 17-354-112, by which the party is also ordered to return the top of this building to its previous state.
It is further stated that since on July 28, the inspector, during the site visit, noticed that there is a change in the situation, he drew up another report, took a photo that proves the situation, and the inspectorate tapes were placed on the entrance door of the party’s apartment, however, he did not meet the party because the door was closed.
The municipality drew up another protocol on the same date, which states that the party continued with the works.
Meanwhile, on July 31, the ruling was issued ordering the party to demolish the building without permission, as well as to return the top of the building to its previous state.
