Singapore becomes the 113th country to recognize the Republic of Kosovo, Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj notified on his Facebook page.
On Thursday, Enver Hoxhaj took to Facebook to say that he continuously lobbied in Singapore for recognition of Kosovo since 2013.
“More great news for Kosovo. Singapore is the newest country to recognize the independence of our country. I have met and lobbied continuously, starting with a visit I took to the country in 2013, and I met and spoke a lot with the [Singapore] Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan in New York,” said Hoxhaj.
The last recognition of Kosovo’s independence was from Suriname, on July 22nd of this year.
