Kosovo Serbs in three out of four municipalities in the north have submitted requests to start the process of removing their disputed mayors via citizens' petitions.

Glauk Konjufca said Serbia wishes to destabilize the north of Kosovo and so delegitimize the election process for mayors of four mainly Serbian municipalities due on April 23.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo has requested the EU to condemn the violation of the basic agreement by Serbia, since the Serbian List party will not participate in the local elections in the northern municipalities with a Serbian majority in Kosovo.
