From 12:00 to 13:00 on Thursday, hundreds of citizens gathered in front of the main Police station in Prishtina to protest the allegations of the rape of a minor made against a police sergeant in Drenas.
“Rapists to jail,” “pedophiles to jail” “shame” and “rapist state” were the loudest calls of the protesters.
Protesters called for justice and security while from time to time for resignations and to bring justice for the sexual violence.
On Friday, a second protest will take place organized by a group of civil society organizations in Drenas, with a march to take place beginning at the ‘Gjergj Kastrioti Skenderbeu’ High School.
