Kosovo began three day commemorations marking the 28th anniversary of the killing of the Jashari family by Serbian forces during the siege of their compound in Prekaz in March 1998.
The final project for the “Adem Jashari Complex” aims to cover a 450-hectare area in Prekaz, with plans to place the Jashari family towers under transparent glass.
Hundreds of citizens gathered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Adem Jashari Memorial Complex in the village of Prekaz in the Skenderaj/Srbica municipality on the 26th anniversary of the death of the Jashari family – marking the Jashari family’s sacrifice.
