The four MPs who threw teargas in the Assembly chamber were found guilty and were sentenced with probation orders.
Albin Kurti and Donika Kadaj Bujupi were released from detention today, with the final verdict for the ‘tear gas case’ expected on January 3.
Detention was extended for one more month for two Vetevendosje MPs, Albin Kurti and Donika Kadaj-Bujupi.
Two of the Vetevendosje MPs charged with setting off tear gas in the Kosovo Assembly were released from detention on house arrest, while the third walked free.
Although PAN coalition MPs returned to the Assembly today, without the necessary 61 votes to elect the speaker, the session was once again postponed indefinitely.
