‘High risk’ municipalities will face a curfew and a ban on entry and exits between 19:00 and 05:00 under new regulations as the number of active coronavirus cases passes 10,000.
New measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are set to enter into force on Friday, with the most affected municipalities facing quarantine and a 19:00 curfew.
In addition to businesses being closed, Minister of Health Armend Zemaj has taken special decisions to prevent entry and exit to seven municipalities between 20:00 on Friday and 05:00 Monday.
The Kosovo Government has approved measures to close businesses from Friday at 20:00 until 05:00 on Monday in order to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Freedom of movement restrictions placed on over 65s by the Kosovo Government in a bid to tackle the coronavirus crisis will not be effective in a country where multiple generations often live together in the same household and can only inflict more stress.
