Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla arrive in Kosovo on Friday for a two-day visit.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will arrive in Kosovo today. Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla are expected to arrive at the Prishtina International Airport early Friday evening.
The British royalties are visiting Kosovo as part of a six day Balkan tour. Kosovo is the last stop of the tour during which the royal couple have visited Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro.
As part of this tour, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla will be staying in Pristina and visit the city of Prizren. On Saturday they will meet Kosovo’s President Atifete Jahjaga, as well as visit the British troops at the KFOR headquarters.
Afterwards, the royal couple are scheduled to visit the old city of Prizren and attend the Interfaith Conference.
This is Prince Charles’ second visit to Kosovo. He visited the country for the first time in September 1999, when he payed a visit to the British troops participating in the NATO peacekeeping mission.
