Kosovo president, speaker of the assembly, and various ministers and ambassadors took to social media to condemn the terrorist attack.
84 people were killed in downtown Nice during Bastille Day festivities on Thursday evening when an armed man drove a truck through the crowds.
The attack, which is widely being described as ‘terrorist,’ was led by an armed man who drove for two kilometers into the celebrating crowds in the southern French town. The attacker, a Tunisian-born Frenchman, zigzagged the truck and opened fire on the crowd. He was shot dead by police after murdering 84 people and injuring many more.
This is the worst attack against France since November 13, when suicide bombers attacked various clubs, shops, and restaurants in Paris, killing 130 people.
Kosovo leaders reacted immediately to the attack to express their sympathy and shock.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci expressed his sympathy in French through his official Twitter account.
#Kosovo soutient la France dans cette heure sombre. Condolences to families & friends. France will prevail. With us by your side. #Nice06
