Papirun’s old location was hidden in the tunnel next to the Buzuku bookshop, and very close to some youthful spots such as Tingle Tangle. It was a small sandwich and salad shop, furnished with very cute décor. Its central location made it perfect for people to drop by and get a sandwich on the way to work or school (or Tingle Tangle). Papirun’s new location (next to Metro), which opened in October 2015, is roomier and simpler. It has a chic yellow door next to the kitchen and some beautiful pots and plants. It also has a great terrace with a view of Nene Tereze boulevard. The menu has also been expanded – a larger variety of different sandwiches, salads, fajitas and burgers are now offered. I tried the steak burger and it was delicious. It is served in a strange metallic plate, accompanied by tasty and well prepared potato wedges and a spicy dip – maybe it’s the best burger in town!
