Three people including a former justice minister were reportedly arrested as the Hague-based Kosovo Specialist Prosecutor's Office investigates alleged obstruction of justice related to war crime trials of former guerrillas.
Vetevendosje MPs Albin Kurti, Albulena Haxhiu, and Donika Kadaj-Bujupi were arrested for failing to appear in court regarding accusations of releasing tear gas in the Kosovo Parliament.
The suspect, accused of committing war crimes in Suhareka in 1999, was issued a 30-day detention measure.
Citizens marched in support of former Kosovo PM and KLA commander Ramush Haradinaj, who was arrested in January on an international warrant issued by Serbia.
After a four-month investigation, the Kosovo Police Inspectorate has detained dozens of officers for felonies including abuse of office and bribery.
