Following the government's initiative, the Kosovo Assembly speaker Kadri Vaseli has called for a 'unity team' to represent the country in the Brussels-facilitated dialogue – but many MPs are far from convinced.

It is essential to note that the border deal does not now make visa free travel inevitable, but we can only hope that the EU does not make corruption an excuse to legitimize the status quo.
The number of Kosovars seeking asylum decreased last year, similarly to other countries in the region, but Albania continues to be a concern with over 20,000 applicants in the past year.
