BIRN Kosovo hosted a high-level conference in Pristina on Thursday (May 19) as part of its second edition of Green Energy Days.
Afghans taking refuge in Kosovo who do not pass the required security checks will not be allowed to travel to the US, an embassy spokesperson told BIRN on Friday.
Kosovo remains the poorest country in the region in terms of clean water per capita and spends millions on purifying the water that citizens drink through supply networks. Kosovo also discharges polluted waters beyond its borders.
During his visit to Kosovo, President Milo Djukanovic said conditions will be created for possible corrections to the disputed border demarcation agreement.
The two sides have been advised to implement all past agreements without delay – and Serbia urged to start imposing sanctions on Russia.
